Believe it or not, these upcycled light fixtures are made from soiled coffee filters! Who would have thought?! Former Brazilian journalist Vilma Farrell makes these beautiful fixtures by hand. "My inspiration comes from Brazil, my country. Brazil is a land of dark coffee, rich spices and muita alegria (happiness)," said Farrell. These lamps come in all shapes and sizes, all made with recycled coffee filters, either in their natural colors or dyed with vegetables and spices. Visit inhabitat.com to see more. Artist Scott Gundersen uses wine-soaked corks to create these masterpieces! Trisha (left) is 46" x 56" and uses 3,621 recycled wine corks!
